Getting your Florida marriage license is simple, but there are different rules for Florida residents and out-of-state couples. Here’s what you need to know:

• No residency requirement—you can apply for a marriage license in any Florida county

• No waiting period—you can get married the same day you receive the license

• License is valid for 60 days

📍 For Florida Residents:

• Must apply at a Florida courthouse (any county)

• Mandatory 3-day waiting period unless you complete a premarital course

• License is valid for 60 days
